The Man I Could Not See
Raymond Cron

I walked along a country road,
Where lovely flowers grow,
I felt the presence of a Man,
Someone I did not know.

I reached to touch with trembling hand,
The one I could not see.
It made me humble in my heart,
To think, He came to me.

I heard about this Man one day,
From an old time preacher man,
He told me how He died for me
And then He rose again.

Twas then I heard the Savior say,
"Thy strength indeed is small,
Child of weakness trust in Me,
Find in Me your all in all."

Just then I looked with eyes of faith,
I saw the nail scarred hands.
I bowed before Him then and said.
"I'll answer your commands."

"Take up thy Cross and follow Me,"
I heard Him gently say,
"Go seek the lost and tell of Me,
And start them on the way."
